Start your holiday shopping while helping raise money for your local food pantry! The 1000 Islands Holiday Shoppers Poker Run is an annual shopping event featuring the best stores in the area.

Shop at participating businesses in Clayton, Cape Vincent and Alexandria Bay starting as early as Monday, November 13th throughout the week until Saturday, November 18th at 5pm.

During the event, shop at any participating business and make a purchase of $5 or more to receive a playing card. Bring your cards to O’Brien’s Restaurant & Bar in Clayton, NY between 3 pm and 5 pm on Saturday and enter for a chance to win one of the prizes generously donated by one of the participating businesses.

Gifts for best hands and the Live Auction will begin at 5:05.

Poker Cards

• Each card MUST have a stamp, label or mark indicating it was from a participating business.

• Shoppers must make purchase of $5 or more to receive a poker card at each business.

• If a shopper only browses a business and decides not to purchase anything they may still buy a poker card for a $5 donation to the Food Pantry.

• Shoppers may ONLY purchase 1 additional card for $5.00 at each business to better their hand.

• All the money collected from the poker cards and stamp cards goes directly to the local food pantries.

Stamp Cards

In addition to the normal ‘Poker Cards’ we do, this year’s Holiday Shopper’s Poker Run Participants will have the opportunity to be entered to win up to two other great prizes!

• Each participant only needs one card to collect their stamps on.

• To receive a stamp from a store, a shopper must make a purchase of $5. Participants only get ONE stamp per business and NO additional stamps may be purchased.

• Shoppers can shop in Clayton, Cape Vincent or Alexandria Bay at participating businesses. Cards will be collected at O’Brien’s in Clayton and can be turned in from
3 pm-5 pm on Saturday as well. Prizes will begin at 5:05 pm.

• The poker run hands will be evaluated separately from the stamp card and other prizes will be awarded for winning hands.
