Indian River Backpack Program provides a backpack of food to families in need. Every entry fee helps feed local families in need and reduce hunger in our community- this event raised over $14,000 in the past four years; help us reach our goal of $4,000 in our fifth year! The 5k and 10k both start at 9am; discounts available for under 18, teams of six, and military participants. Pre-register by September 19th at www.thebackpackrun.com 5k ($20) or 10k ($25) or on race day 5k or 10k ($30). All abilities welcome- come enjoy the live music on the route, prizes for top runners, and five water stations on a beautiful scenic route! Challenge yourself on the Theresa hills as you enjoy this beautiful and scenic course. When you are finished kick back on the St. Lawrence River in the Thousand Islands when you finish the race- only ten minutes away! Both events begin at 9am from Theresa Primary.
